Red Velma’s
Garage

What started as a conversation between an art lover and an abstract expressionist painter in a vacant garage space in Seattle soon evovled into an art salon with real furniture and a lovely little creative community.

With the help of friends who make art and friends who appreciate it and the friends of their friends and their friends (and their friends) I hosted themed art soirees featuring the work of local artists in a format that encourages engagement, discussion, constructive feedback, creation, collaboration, and joy.

Special thanks to Daniel Chesney, who is not only a talented artist, but an incredibly supportive, uniquely-attuned-to-the-universe kind of human I feel lucky to call a friend.
